Every quote is priced on site, in person
Wolf Pine quotes by coming out to look at the job. Never over the phone, never off a photograph. It costs you nothing, you get a price on the day, and the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.
Why not just quote off a photo?
Because a photograph does not show me what a price depends on. It does not show what is underneath the tree, how firm the ground is, whether there is a gate I can get through, how close the power line runs, or what state the trunk is in at the back where you cannot see.
A price given without those things is a guess, and guesses get revised upwards once someone is standing in your garden with the work half done. That is the situation this avoids.

What happens, in order
You ring, or send me a message
Tell me roughly what the tree is, where it is, and what is worrying you about it. A photo helps me picture it, but it is not what I price from. If it is urgent, say so.
I come out and look at it
At a time that suits you, usually within a few days. This costs you nothing and you are not committing to anything by asking. I want to see the tree, what is underneath it, and how I would get to it.
You get a price there and then
Standing in front of the tree, not a week later by email. I will tell you what I would do, why, how long it will take, what happens to the wood, and what it will cost. If the job needs council consent I will tell you that too.
You decide, in your own time
There is no pressure and no chasing. If you want to think about it or compare it against another quote, that is completely reasonable.
I do the work
On the day agreed. I turn up when I say I will, work to the price quoted, and clear up properly before I leave. If anything changes once I am into the job, you hear about it from me before I carry on, not afterwards on the bill.
What I will not do
Give you a figure over the phone, price a job off a photograph, or start work on a protected tree without checking with the council first.
Ask me to come and look
Every quote starts with me coming out to look at the job. It costs you nothing, and you get a price on the day rather than a week later.
